Shortened Words...

somethin i have noticed lately is that some folks feel the need to shorten words...
now i do use my own style of shorthand when typin... such as droppin g's, few caps, improper use of punctuation... etc...
but when speakin i usually will say the word as it was taught to me...

i find it irritatin when someone says "Squatch"... does it really take too much effort for them to say the "Sas" first???

"Teach" is a verb... not a person...

are they so worn out from work that they cannot say "Tion" as they talk about their "Vaca"?

so many shortenings are now commonplace... tv... comp... bot...
i have been guilty of usin some i am sure... lol

it says somethin about a society that does not just accept, but adopts the eccentricity of the lazy and the folks that strive to be different...
not sure what tho...
